Qualifications & Training

Counselling can help you to distance yourself from your everyday problems and to gain a clearer perspective.

Both during and after my core training as an integrative counsellor, I remain committed to fulfilling the BACP expectations regarding continuing professional development (CPD). In addition to increasing and consolidating my knowledge of important issues in the world of therapy by reading a range of publications (in print and online), I participate in training and workshops on a variety of topics and approaches, to develop and enhance my effectiveness as a practitioner.

Examples of such topics include:-

  • Essential Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Skills
  • Working with Addictions (inc. Sex Addiction & Compulsivity)
  • Counselling for Bereavement and Loss
  • Working with Survivors of Trauma
  • Counselling Suicidal Clients
